From March 7 to 10, 2023, one of the most professional exhibitions for grinding equipment and technology, GrindTec 2023, was held at the Leipzig Exhibition Center in Germany. As an important forum for the European grinding industry held every two years, it not only gathered the world’s renowned manufacturers of precision grinding machines and grinding tool manufacturers but also included many famous manufacturers from the superhard materials cutting industry. On the second day of the exhibition, the foot traffic exceeded that of the first day. There were four exhibition halls in total, with Chinese enterprises primarily located in Hall 2 and Hall 5. At the exhibition, we saw many internationally recognized grinding tool brands. New products and technologies were continuously impressing us. The overseas demand reduction and insufficient orders stemming from the global pandemic have put pressure on many enterprises. With the overseas market reopening, businesses now have new opportunities to reach out to new customers and maintain old ones. Furthermore, face-to-face meetings allow for a better understanding of customers’ true thoughts and provide more assurance for deepening cooperation. After the exhibition, a matchmaking meeting for the German equipment manufacturing industry was held. At this matchmaking event, the Henan Provincial Department of Commerce, Leipzig Economic Development Bureau, the Superhard Materials Branch of the China Machine Tool & Tool Industry Association, Leipzig Chamber of Commerce, German Precision Mechanical Tools Association, Sino-German Economic Association, and Abrasivestocks conducted business matchmaking. Additionally, German enterprises attending the exhibition engaged in further communication with Chinese enterprises.
