From April 21-23, 2022, the 5th International Grinding and Finishing Exhibition opened at the Pimpri-Chichwad Automotive Cluster Exhibition Center in Pune, India. Pune, regarded as the "Detroit of India," exhibits immense vitality in the automotive, heavy engineering, aerospace, defense, military, and many other manufacturing sectors. GRINDEX 2022 was an excellent opportunity to showcase the latest grinding products and technologies in India, as well as accompanying products, serving as a renowned international professional platform focusing on tool grinding and surface finishing technologies. Abrasivestocks, as the exclusive general agent for Grindex in China, applied for a special area for Chinese grinding enterprises, creating a more effective international promotion channel for the grinding industry. Abrasivestocks formed a Chinese exhibition group with Zhengzhou Jixiang, Zibo Kerun, Zhongshan Shunhao, and Henan Yuteng, occupying the Chinese grinding enterprises area. We coordinated with the organizers to provide professional service personnel fluent in Hindi and English for enterprises unable to attend the exhibition in person, and also offered free printing of promotional materials and business cards for participating Chinese enterprises, which were distributed at the booth by service personnel while collecting visitor information. We learned that the pandemic had some impact on this exhibition; however, the overall foot traffic was still quite impressive, thanks to the professionalism of the exhibition and the preparations made by the organizers. At the exhibition, we distributed 500 copies of the English version of the "China Grinding Supplier Directory" overseas, helping more enterprises promote at the exhibition and bringing more quality buyers to domestic enterprises, thereby connecting supply and demand channels.
