In the 99th issue of the Abrasivestocks community, the team brought a dual feast of visuals and information via live streams from two major industry events: the 2nd Surface Precision Machining Expo (PME CHINA 2024) and the 73rd National Autumn Hardware Commodity Fair 2024. PME CHINA 2024: A Stage for Precision Machining Song Yuning, Deputy General Manager of Abrasivestocks, noted that the number of specially designed booths at this year’s PME expo increased significantly compared to previous editions, attracting a large number of precise and professional visitors. During the live broadcast, Abrasivestocks engaged with exhibitors in the abrasives sector. General Manager Chen from Qisheng Abrasives highlighted that their torque sanding disc products cater to niche markets, utilizing premium materials such as high-end abrasive cloth, zirconia alumina, ceramic alumina, and imported aluminum oxide. These products are particularly suited for the precision grinding needs of high-end industries like aerospace. Qisheng’s focus aligns with the expo's theme of precision and high-end grinding. Abrasivestocks set up a specialized “Abrasives Area” at the expo, which garnered significant attention from target customers. Some promotional materials from the exhibitors in this area were completely taken by visitors on the first day, demonstrating the strong cluster effect of the section. Linyi Hardware Fair: A Market Feast of Innovation and Tradition Abrasivestocks' General Manager Bai Ning, along with Guo Yahui, Chairman of Jieao Abrasives, took a deep dive into the Linyi Hardware Fair. Guo observed that the fair featured many new brands led by energetic young entrepreneurs. For instance, "Chuangshi Tools" was founded by 26 post-90s employees who are also shareholders, covering products like locks, hand tools, power tools, and consumables, reflecting the new generation's approach to brand alliance and operation strategies. The live stream also explored renowned companies. Changlu Tools showcased its full product line across 16 categories, while Jinpeng Abrasives' General Manager Shi shared the company’s strong performance in the first half of the year and the high popularity at the exhibition. Huiying Precision Tools introduced ultra-thin aluminum sheets, noted for their sharpness and durability, while Ganghua Saws exhibited their new, unbreakable saw blades with excellent sharpness. Guo Yahui remarked that the expo reflected diverse operational models among different brands, with notable integration of resources, such as the crossover between power tools and hardware products. Bai Ning emphasized that innovation is the key to overcoming market challenges. He also introduced the upcoming Australia Tool & Abrasive Expo (ATEG), set to take place from April 29 to May 1, 2025, in Brisbane. Guo expressed strong interest in expanding internationally, seeing this platform as a means to enhance brand influence and explore broader markets. He hopes that Abrasivestocks can build a bridge for China's hardware market in Australia, helping Chinese companies secure more opportunities and profits on the global stage. Both expos not only showcased the latest trends and products in the industry but also conveyed positive market signals. No matter how the market changes, innovation and precise positioning remain the core drivers for companies to move forward. Even in the most challenging times, the best opportunities often emerge, and the market always holds potential for those brave enough to explore.
