The 36th China International Hardware Expo kicked off on May 8 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). Established in 1952 as the National Hardware Ordering Meeting, the expo has developed into a barometer and trendsetter for the hardware and electromechanical industry over the past 70 years. This year, the expo features five exhibition halls, with abrasive tools primarily concentrated in Hall 7.2. According to Abrasivestocks staff visits, over 200 abrasive tool companies participated in this expo, covering various categories including abrasives, bonded tools, coated tools, and superhard tools. At the event, several abrasive tool companies were interviewed by Abrasivestocks. Batist (Jiaxing) Tools emphasized its origins from German craftsmanship and focus on niche markets; Juluo (Tianjin) Tools reported good domestic and international orders and plans to develop both markets simultaneously; Dongguan Dingshuo Tools expressed optimism about the Chinese market and is considering differentiated competition; Shenzhen Jiuding Abrasives reported an increase in Q1 performance, adopting horizontal expansion strategies, diversifying development, and focusing on both domestic and international market layouts. All these companies indicated their commitment to continuously improving product quality and services to meet market demands and strengthen brand building for better development.
